Introduction
Our training is hosted at the locations detailed below. We have also provided you with a list of recommended hotels for the area. Some hotels will have an agreed SGI rate, please let the reception know this at the time of booking or you are welcome to contact us to assist with any hotel requirements.
Location
Training will be conducted at one of the locations below. Lunches are provided as part of your training package. All classes begin at 09h30.Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the premises.
Travel
You are responsible for all travel arrangements to and from our training facilities. For our Munich and France sessions, please allow at least 1 hour minimum traveling time from the main airport to our training centre. In Reading, It is recommended that you travel to Heathrow Airport and you can use the RailAir Bus Service or National Rail Service to Reading town centre, stopping at the main Reading Station. Train from Reading Train Station to Winnersh Train Station, £3.10 One Day Return£13.70 Weekly ticket (a passport photo is required)Then 5 minutes walk from Winnersh Training Station to SGI training centre
Smoking/Dress Code
Smoking is not permitted in the building. During breaks, students may smoke outside. Casual dress is acceptable while attending classes at SGI.
Equipment
Each student will have the use of an SGI workstation for lab exercises. Some classes will have one system and graphics display unit for two students. Access to appropriate reference material is provided in addition to class material and notes. Some training locations may require students to bring their own laptop for training, but this will be communicated in advance for a specific training course.
