  • User and Group Account Administration covers creating, managing, and maintaining user and group accounts.
  • Partitioning discusses disk partition tables and how to create, modify, and delete partitions.
  • Filesystems covers common filesystems, how to mount and unmount filesystems, disk quotas, and filesystem check and repair.
  • LVM covers logical volumes and volume groups, how to create a logical volume using LVM, and how to make a filesysten the logical volume.
